RESULT
RESOLUTION .
WHEREAS, Messrs. Hill and Warmack have applied to the District
Court in and for Salt Lake County, for a license to sell intoxicat-
ing liquors at retail at No. 331 South Main Street in Salt Lake
City; and
WHEREAS, The retail liquor licenses now in effect in Salt
Lake City number about one hundred and thirty-eight, and the
granting of a license to Messrs. Hill and Warmack would add another
and new saloon to those already in operation in this city; and
WHEREAS, It is the belief of the Commissioners of Salt Lake
City that this city now has enough retail saloons to supply the
demand for intoxicants in this city, in view of the present
population;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Legal Department of
Salt Lake City is hereby authorized and directed to protest on
behalf of Salt Lake City, before the Judges of the District Court,
against the granting of the license to the above named applicants.
