WHEREAS, under date of August 21, 1916, a resolution
Result was adopted notifying the Salt Lake Terminal Co. to appear
before the Board of Commissioners on August 29th, 1916, at 10:30 A.M. and
show cause why an ordinance revoking and annulling their franchise to lay
tracks and operate cars upon Pierpont street should not be passed; and
WHEREAS, the Board met and were in session at 10i30 A.M.August
29th, 1916, and
WHEREAS, the Salt Lake Terminal Co. was not represented at said
hearing; now therefore
$E IT RESOLVEN that the Law Department be, and it is hereby
directed to prepare an ordinance declaring said fr chise granted to the
Salt Lake Terminal Co. under date of Dece er 31st 13 11 and void in
so far as it affects said Pierpont street nd the t ay acks and
operate a railroad thereon.
