RESOLUTION ✓
/ OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, the Community Services Council, consisting of
public spirited citizens of Salt Lake City, has prepared and
completed a "Study of the Central City Community Center,"
and the same has been ordered filed for record by the Board
of City Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, said Council has diligently pursued the study
thus made and has devoted much time and thought to the problems
involved; and
WHEREAS, said Council has submitted to the City Commission
the results of its study of the problems and has submitted its
specific findings in connection therewith; all of which are of
great assistance to the Board of City Commissioners and the
city as a whole:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, that said Board, on behalf of itself and on
behalf of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, does hereby express
to said Community Services Council its sincere appreciation and
thanks for the services said Council has thus rendered to Salt
Lake City and for the thought, time and effort contributed by
said Council in this study, evidencing a deep interest in, and
concern for, the proper administration of the affairs of the
Central City Community Center and the affairs of Salt Lake City.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this Resolution to Mrs. Stanley Marcus, Chairman of said Council,
on behalf of the Community Services Council.
