Result ■�� RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Section 24-1-6 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake
City, Utah, 1965, and Section 10-6-14, Utah Code Annotated 1953,
permit the Board of Salt Lake City Commissioners to set the time and
place of its public meetings; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid laws require that three public meetings
be held per week; and
WHEREAS, the City has provided that said public meetings be held
on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise
ordered by the majority of the Board; and
WHEREAS, the regularly scheduled meeting set for 10:00 a.m. on
Wednesday, October 2, 1974, is in conflict with the scheduled visit
by the President of the United States of America; and
WHEREAS, it is the will and desire of the Board of Salt Lake
City Commissioners that the aforesaid October 2, 1974 meeting be
held at 2:00 p.m. on said date instead of 10:00 a.m., in order to
accomodate the Commission being able to meet with and greet the Chief
Executive of these United States;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that its regularly scheduled meeting set for
10:00 a.m. October 2, 1974, be, and the same hereby is vacated and
continued. In substitute and in lieu of said morning meeting, a
regularly scheduled public meeting of said Board shall be held Wednesday,
October 2, 1974 at 2:00 p.m. to hear all matters properly brought be-
fore the Board of Salt Lake City Commissioners.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Salt Lake City Recorder serve
personally or leave at the usual place of abode a notice of said meet-
ing with any Commissioner not present and not joining affirmatively in
this Resolution, as required by the provisions of Section 24-1-6,
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amen d.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake Ci , Utah,
this 25th day of September, 1974.
