Salt Lake, July 6, 1914.
On Motion of T .r. Wells.
RESOLVED: That the gollowing employments be and hereby
are authorized in the Bureau of Mechanical Inspection, taking
effect July 1st, 1914, viz:
Mrs. Edna Ulke to be continued in the building and
electrical departments of said Bureau, as stenographer, at a salary
of $900.00 per year.
Also, that Yr. L. G. Christensen be continued as
Assistant electrical inppector at a slaary of $1200.00 per year,
as the exigencies of the service may require:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That pending the organization
of the Bureau of Mechanical Inspection, the employees of other de-
partments heretofore engaged in work now prescribed for said bureau be
and they are hereby continued in their respective departments at the
former salaries until regular appointments are made as in the ordi-
nances provided, excepting however, that employment of Frank Glenn
and W. L. Ludwig be discontinued from and after July 6th, 1914, and
that the Bureau of Mechanical Inspection be authorized to pay the
same salaries to Messrs. Glenn and Ludwig, as they formerly received,
up to and including July 6th, 1914. I
