rEFR PS, The City Engineer on June 25 , 1914 , gave Lyman &
Samuels notice in writing to proceed within ten deys after the date
of :aid notice , to carry out their contract with Salt Lake City to
construct the Thirteenth South Supply M ain from Big Cottonwood
Conduit to Ninth East and"-Twelfth South Streets ; and
71TER2AS, More then ten days have elapsed since the giving of
said notice , and said contractors have failed to comply therewith:
M0 ' THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City:
That the City Engineer of said City be, and he is hereby
directed to give said Lyman & Samuels , Contractors , and the Utah
Savings & Trust Company, surety on their bond to the City for the
faithful performance of said contract , etc. , notice in writing to
commence the construction of said supply main within five days
after the service of said notice.
