Result
WHEREAS, William King departed this life on Tuesday,
May 16, 1944; and
WHEREAS, he was an honored and respected employee of
Salt Lake City, having served for the past seventeen years as a
night watchman at the City and County Building, faithfully and
efficiently performing the various duties assigned and demanded
of him by reason of such service.
He contributed measurably to the well being of his fellow
employees and inhabitants of this city for which the Board of Com-
missioners of Salt Lake City for itself and on behalf of the citi-
zens of said city are deeply grateful and appreciative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commission-
ers of Salt Lake City for and on behalf of said Board and the citi-
zens of said city that said Board does hereby express publicly its
appreciation for the long and faithful service which Mr. King rendere(
to the city and hereby extends its sympathy and condolence to his
family; that an engrossed copy of this resolution be conveyed to the
surviving family of William King.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon
the minutes of the Board of Commissioners. 7
