,:!Iii_7RTAS, IT is necessary in order to proviue peeper, safe
aria adequate facilities for the safe and convenient use by aircraft
of Salt Lake City 1,:unicitedl Airport ko. 1 to expand the said air-
port to provide aiditional buildings, hangars, runways, landing
fielms, proper guards aria signal devices, and other airport facili-
ties, and it is to the public interest arid for the puolic benefit
that such expansion or made;

of Salt Lake City that it is necessary and to the public interest
of said City and its inhabitants that the City expand its Salt Lake
City Punicipal Airport Lo. 1 to include the land hereinafter describ-
ed to construct, maintain and operate thereon buildings, hangars,
runways, landing fields, guards, signal devices, and other airport
facilities, all in accoraance with plans and specifications hereto-
fore prepareu for and approved by the Fpara of Co=issioners of Salt
Lake City;
hat the construction, maintenance and operation of said
expanded airport facilities be and the same are hereby authorized;
That the said land hereinafter mescribed and the whole
thereof is hereby determined to be necessary anu the most suitable
Place for the location, construction, maintenance and operation and
expansion of said airport, and its facilities as so expanded, and
tne acquiring of said land by Salt Lake City for such purpose is
hereby declared to be a public necessity and for the good, well-being,
and protection of the inhabitants of said City;
That condemnation proceedings be, and the same hereby are,
authorized to be brought in the name of Salt Lake City oy the Legal
Department of Salt Lake City to acquire by such proceedings all of

land hereinafter described for the proper and necessary expansion
and use of the Salt Lake City Municipal Airport No. 1.
The parcels of land hereinabove referred to and author-
ized to be condemned hereunder are situated in Salt Lake County,
State of Utah, and more particularly described as follows:
