a hoard of Canvassers on Monday, November 14th, 1955, Resolution
Wo. 6 dselaring the results of the Municipal risottos hold
November dtb, 1955, and directing the City Recorder to issue a
Certificate of ^lection to the following, was adopted:
Adisl F. Stewart, Mayor four year term,
Grant *. Burbidle, Commissioner tour year term
L. C. Romney, Coamissioner tour year term

RESOLUTION
Result
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD NOVEMBER $th, 1955.
WHEREAS, a Municipal Election was held on Tuesday,
the dth day of November, A.D., 1955, in the City of Salt Lake
City, and
WHEREAS, on Monday the 14th day of November, 1955,
the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, sitting
as a Board of Canvassers, as required by law, convened and
did publicly canvass the returns of such election, and did
continue in session until the same was concluded, and
WHEREAS, on this 14th day of November, A.D., 1955,
having completed said canvass, the Board does find from such
canvass, that the following named persons were elected from
a plurality of votes cast, to the offices set opposite their
respective names:
MAYOR
ADIEL F. STEWART, Mayor four year term
CITY COSSIONERS
GRANT M. BURBIDGE, Commissioner four year term
L. C. ROMNEY, Commissioner four year term
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT Certificates of
Election be issued to the following named persons to the office
set opposite their respective names, they and each of them
having received a plurality of all votes cast, and they and
each of them are hereby declared to have been elected to said

offices and the City Recorder is hereby directed to issue
a Certificate of Election to each of said persons, namely:

GRANT M. BURBIDGE, Commissioner four year term,
L. C. ROMNEY, Commissioner four year term,
This resolution shall take effect upon ttis 6,5tion.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City!,
