Harrison • COMMISSIONER Declaring that all streets remain in Lighting District No. 52-B, as pro- posed in the Notice of Intention for creation of the same, with the ex- ception of 1300 South Street, Village Circle, Nottingham Way, Roxbury Road, Stansbury Way and Jaren Circle, Crestview Drive and Millicent Drive for the reason that more than 51%o_' the abutting property owners in this area protested the improvement. Greener Harmsen Harrison Phillips RESOLUTION Result I WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Board of Commissioners declared its intention to create Lighting District No. 52-B on the 22nd day of January , 1973; and WHEREAS, said Notice of Intention was published first on August 23, 1973, second on August 30, 1973, third on September 6, 1973, and last on September 13, 1973; and that said Notice was mailed postage prepaid to each owner of the property to be assessed within the special improve- ment district at his last known address as said address appeared on the last completed real property assessment rolls of Salt Lake County, and also sent to "owner" at the street number of each piece of improved property to be assessed; and WHEREAS, protests respecting the creation of Special Improvement District were heard and considered by the Board of Commissioners on the 26th day of December, 1973. The results of the protests received by the Board of City Commissioners amounted to 26.53% of the total assess- able frontage in the district. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that all streets remain in the district as proposed in the Notice, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF 1300 South Street, Village Circle, Nottingham Way, Roxbury Road, Stansbury Way, Jaren Circle, Crestview Drive and Millicent Drive for the reason that more than 51% of the abutting property owners in this area protested the Lighting Improvement. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby authorize the City Engineer to proceed with this project as outlined.
