Greener ✓4.7 iieik.Campbell Phillips S UTION Result , OF CONDOLENCE WHEREAS, the officers, employees and residents of Salt Lake City were greatly saddened to learn of the death of Joseph L. Fakler, a man whom they will deeply miss; and WHEREAS, he has been an accountant and comptroller for several firms in the west, and was appointed City Treasurer in January 1972; and WHEREAS, since his appointment as Treasurer he has inaugurated numerous money handling methods and investment procedures which have increased the amount of money available to the City without increasing taxes; and WHEREAS, Mr. Fakler's enthusiasm and dedication to his work and his expertise and professionalism was recognized by his associates, and he was well loved and respected by his fellow City employees; and WHEREAS, his cheerful smile and countenance will be sorely missed by those who knew him. NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS, on behalf of themselves, the employees of Salt Lake City and the City's residents hereby extend their deepest felt condolences to the family of Joseph L. Fakler. May they ever be comforted in their loss by the bright memory of his many accomplishments and service he has left as a testa- ment of his life's work.
