BUILDING INSPECTOR SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH July 8, 1914.
Honorable Heber M, Wells,
Commissioner of Parks and Public Property.
Sir:-
In the matter of the transfer to the Bureau of
1:'echanical Inspection of the appropriations heretofore
made and now standing to the credit of the various sub-
divisions now embraced in said Bureau, and referring to
my letter of July 3, 1914 and the Auditor's letter of
July 3, 1914, now on file in the office of the Recorder,
I have the honor to submit herewith, a revised state-
ment showing the amount required in the several divisions
for the ensuing six months. This revised estimate shows
a total amounting to $11,335.00
and the Auditor's letter of July 3d, shows
appropriations heretofore made, amounting to 11.044.28
making a net increase of 290.72.
$200.00 of this increase is due to the fact that this de-
. partment is to be charged with one half of the salary of
the stenographer in the City Engineer's office, who issues
plumbing permits and attends to his telephone.
Very respectfully,
Chief of Bureau of Mechanical Inspection.
