RESOLUTION .
RESOLVED, That a contract be entered into by Salt Lake City
with Cahoon and Maxfield Irrigation Company, providing for leasing
said Company six (6) second feet of the water of the East Jordan
Canal to which the city is entitled, upon the agreement of said
Cahoon and Maxfield Irrigation Company to deliver all of said wate ,
to which the city is entitled through its canal into the Jordan an.
Salt Lake Canal, said contract having been prepared and submitted
to the Board of Commissioners upon the adoption of this resolution,
and that the Mayor be authorized and directed to execute said con-
tract, and the Recorder to affix thereto the seal of the city, and
countersign the same.
