Enclosed please find a copy of a
resolution passed by the Board of County
Commissioners of Salt Lake County during
session of May 7th, 1913, relative to the
appointment of C. S. Larsen a night-watch-
man on the City and County Building Grounds.

RESOLUTION
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake County,
Utah, May 7, 1913.
On motion of Commissioner ?Talker , the following RESOLUTION
was unanimously adopted:
Whereas GEORGE D. TFIYSEE of the Board of CITY COMMISSIONERS
and A. H. CRABBE, CHAIRMAN of the COMMITTEE or BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS
of the Board of County Commissioners, have agreed upon the appointment
of a NIGHT-WATCHMAN for the City and County Building grounds and have
also agreed upon the salary to be paid said night-watchman;
BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED that S. C. LARSEN be appointed
night-watchman on the City and County Building grounds at a salary of
Ninety Dollars per month, Salt Lake City to pay one half and Salt Lake
County to pay one half; all of which is in accordance with the said
agreement between Mr. Keyser, as representative of the Board af -City
Commissioners, and Mr. Crabbe, Chairman of the Committee on Buildings
and Grounds of the County Commissioners.

RESOLUTION .
WHEREAS, through some oversight Mr. L. C. Larsen' s
appointment as night watchman on the grounds of the City & County
the Board of Commi7sioners •
Building was not confirmed by X*MSkerY `'R; and
WHEREAS, Lr. Larsen has been acting in such capacity for
the last half month under an agreement entered into by the Board
of Control of the City & County Building, and he is entitled to
pay for the half month; therefore be it
RESOLVED that the sum of $22. 50 be placed upon the
Authorized List to the credit of Mr. Lawsen and that his appointment
as night watchman for the City & County Building grounds be confirmed
at a salary of $45.00 per month.
