Mr.Mr.Chairman / rr I move that a Reso tion be adopted., Greener X Harmsen Hogensen ({y ltanixam Phillips RESOLUTION Result (1/ /:// WHEREAS, Salt Lake City Corporation desires to purchase Sumner School and the school site both of which are located at 636 South 300 East; more specifically described as: all of Lots 7 and 8, Block 19, Plat "A", Salt Lake City Survey; and WHEREAS, the Board of Education of Salt Lake City desires to sell Sumner School and the Sumner School site located at the above site; and WHEREAS, Salt Lake City will acquire said property with funds received through its Community Development Block Grant; and WHEREAS, Salt Lake City has complied with all regulations and requirements imposed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development on all Community Development Block Grant expenditures; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: 1. The Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby authorize the acquisition of Sumner School and Sumner School site from the Board of Education of Salt Lake City. 2. Conrad B. Harrison, Mayor, and Jennings Phillips, Jr., Commissioner, are authorized to sign the necessary documents on behalf of Salt Lake City Corporation and to act in connection with said acquisition as may be required.
