Agraz COMMISSIONER Expressing appreciation to Arnie R. Green for his long dedicated ser- vice as an employee of the Salt Lak City Streets Department, and wishin;: him an enjoyable retirement. Agraz Greener Hogensen Phillips RES I Result / s OF APP ECIATION WHEREAS, Arnie R. Green retired from the Salt Lake City Streets Department on August 25, 1976; and WHEREAS, Arnie has served Salt Lake City for 29 years during which he has touched the lives of many of his "kids", many of whom will always remember him by his "let's hustle kid"; and WHEREAS, Mr. Green has worked long and successfully under seven commissioners, taking great pride in his work, always insisting that it be done in the best possible way, and saving the City many dollars through his ingenuity and devotion to duty; and WHEREAS, Mr. Green has earned the friendship, respect and love of his co-workers, holding many positions of responsbility, including Traffic Maintenance Foreman for more than 10 years, and setting an outstanding example by, among other things, having a perfect work record. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City that the Board does hereby express to Traffic Main- tenance Foreman Arnold (Arnie) R. Green, on behalf of itself and the residents of Salt Lake City, their sincere appreciation and gratitude for his devoted and capable service and for his years of loyalty, dedication and service. The Board further extends to him its warmest wishes for happiness and health in his retirement.
