Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS application was made on the fourth day of
August 1916 by Maud May for a rooming house keeper's license
at 58-60 Commercial Street and application was made on September
twentieth,1916, by the same party for rooming house keeper's
license at #54 Commercial Street for a term of five and four
months respectively, and
WHEREAS said applications were referred to the Chief
of Police on August seventh and September 21st.respectively,and
said Chief of Police made his report to the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City,together with a report that he has inspected
said rooming house and recommended that the license be denied:
THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED: That said applications for
a rooming house keeper's license by Maud May, together with said
report of Chief of Police, be set down for hearing before the
Board of Commissioners for
lthe 3 day of l�C 1916
at the hour of �S ( VM , and that the City Recorder he,
and he is hereby instructed to serve upon the said Maud May a
copy of the report of said Chief of Police together with a notice
of the time and place of said hearing upon her applications and
that the Chief of Police of Salt Lake City and the City Attorney
be notified of the time and place of said hearing.
