RESOLUTION
Result . . . .
WHEREAS, Hendrik Romeyn is leaving the State of Utah to
live with his daughter in New York; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Romeyn served as Executive Secretary of the
Better Business Bureau of Greater Salt Lake City from 1935 to 1966;
and
WHEREAS, he has devoted his life to serving his fellow
citizens, dedicated to the principle of fostering public trust in
local business and advertising; and
WHEREAS, he has been an exemplary citizen of Salt Lake
City and of the State of Utah.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express its sincere and
deep appreciation to Mr. Romeyn for his long and dedicated service
to the citizens and business community of Salt Lake City.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of
this Resolution to Mr. Romeyn.
