reevaluated, pursuant to a mandate of the Utah Legislature; and

Commission, by executive order, extend the date setting said mill
levies to on or about September 13, 1978; and
WHEREAS, there is some ambiguity as to the legal authority of
the Utah State Tax Commission to delay the setting of the City's mill
levy as set forth in the statutes of the State of Utah; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent and desire of Salt Lake City to comply
to the extent feasible with the mandate of the Utah Legislature,

operations and the taxing authority granted by the Legislature of the
State of Utah; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission heretofore set its mill levy and it
now has more accurate information for a mill levy setting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Salt Lake City

as follows:

ing reductions by the Board of Equalization, has been completed.
