Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, application was made on'the llth.day of September,
1916 by Ethel Mathews for a rooming house keeper's license at
#30* Commercial Street for a term of four and one half months
commencing August 15th.1916, and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Chief of
Police on September 12th.,1916 and the Chief of Police has made
report to the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City together
with a report that he has inspected said rooming house and recom-
mended that the license be denied:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That said application for room-
ing house keeper's license by Ethel Mathews,together with said
report of the Chief of Police, be set down for hearing before the
Board of Commissioners for the 3rd day of October 1916,at the
hour of 2:30 P. Y. and that the City Recorder be and he is
hereby instructed to serve upon the said Ethel Mathews a copy of
the report of the Chief of Police,together with a notice of the
time and place of said hearing upon her application, and that the
Chief of Police and the City Attorney be notified of the time and
place of said hearing.
