WHEREAS, this Board resolved on the 19th day of November,
1970, that the proposed conversion of overhead utilities to under-
ground services along portions of Northmont Way and North Hills
Drive in the area of the city known as the North Hills Subdivision
was in the public interest,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, Utah, as follows:
1. That it is the intention of this Board to create a
special improvement district to make the improvements as set forth
in this Resolution, which are deemed to be in the public interest
and will promote the public welfare.
2. That said improvement district will encompass lots 1
to 12 inclusive, Plat "A," and Lots 14 to 23 inclusive Plat "C"
all in North Hills Subdivision of the southeast one quarter of
Section 30, T. 1 N., R. 1 E., Salt Lake Base and Meridian. Said
area, bounded on the North by the center line of Sections 29 and 30,
T. 1 N., R. 1 E., Salt Lake Base and Meridian; on the South by 13th
Avenue; on the East by I Street, together with Hilltop Road; and on
the West by City Creek Canyon.
3. That the proposed improvement consists of converting
the existing overhead utility lines to underground locations in the
area described in paragraph 2 of this Resolution, which conversion
will cost an estimated $33,455.40. Said cost estimate includes the
contract price of the improvement, engineering and clerical services,
advertising and other administrative expenses.
4. That said costs and expenses of the district created
are to be levied and assessed upon the abutting, adjoining and
adjacent lots and lands along or upon which the improvements are to
be made, and upon lots and lands benefited by such improvements and
included within said improvement district.
5. That this Board will hold a public hearing to consider
said improvement district the 6th day of January
197 1 , at the hour of 1$n30 A M. in Room 301, City and County
Building, Salt Lake City, Utah.

NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah, of the intention of said Board to create a
special improvement district, in order to make the following-described
improvements, to-wit:
Conversion of the existing overhead utility lines to under-
ground locations along portions of Northmont Way and North Hills Drive
in the North Hills Subdivision, Salt Lake City. Each parcel of
property so affected will have all utility poles, wires, transformers
and other such equipment removed therefrom and placed underground
along the front portions of such property.
It is proposed to assess the real property in the district
to pay all or a designated portion of the costs of the improvement
according to the square footage of and the benefits to be derived by
each tract, block, lot and parcel of land within the district, said
district situate at:
"Lots 1 to 12 inclusive, Plat "A," and Lots
14 to 23 inclusive Plat "C" all in North Hills
Subdivision of the southeast one quarter of Section
30, T. 1 N., R. 1 E., Salt Lake Base and Meridian.
Said area, bounded on the North by the center line of
Sections 29 and 30, T. 1 N., R. 1 E., Salt Lake
Base and Meridian; on the South by 13th Avenue; on
the East by I Street, together with Hilltop Road;
and on the West by City Creek Canyon."
The estimated cost of such improvement shall be $33,455.40,

and clerical services, advertising and other administrative expenses.
The Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to
consider the proposed improvement district on the 6th day of January,
1971, at 10:30 A.M., in the City Commission Chambers, Room 301, City
and County Building, Salt Lake City, Utah. All protests or objections
to such special improvement or to the carrying out of such intention
will be heard at said time.
The resolution of the Board of Commissioners creating said
district is available for public inspection in the office of the City
Recorder.
