Result /
WHEREAS, Harold W. Simpson has served as a member of the Salt
Lake City Civil Service Commission, having been appointed to said
Commission on January 29, 1969; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Simpson has served conscientiously and with dis-
tinction; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Simpson has contributed many long and devoted hours
of service, without remuneration, to the development and assurance of
orderly and good relations between Salt Lake City and its employees
and the quality of employee service; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Simpson resigned from the Commission on June 30,
1976; and
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City and residents thereof owe Mr. Simpson
a debt of gratitude for his unselfish and diligent service.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, that it does hereby express on its own behalf and on
behalf of the citizens of Salt Lake City, its most sincere and deepest
appreciation and gratitude for the dedicated and faithful service
rendered by Mr. Simpson.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 31st day of August , 1976.
