WHEREAS, Salt Lake City desires to enter into a cooperative
agreement with Alta, Utah; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of the interlocal cooperation act of the
State of Utah, Salt Lake City has the authority to enter into such agree-
ment with Alta, Utah; and
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of Salt Lake City and Alta to enter
into an agreement with respect to the lease of one surplus vehicle to
Alta, to-wit: A brown 1972 Fury four-door, vehicle inspection
No. PK41 P2D 159 399.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah as follows:
Salt Lake City endorses and accepts the agreement between Salt
Lake City and the town of Alta and does agree to lease the above referred
to vehicle to the town of Alta for the use of police related work only,
subject to the terms and conditions of said agreement. Mayor Conrad B.
Harrison is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to execute the
lease on behalf of Salt Lake City Corporation.
