RESOLUTION
WHEREAS a, ppiicatior. was made on the llth, day of September
1916 by Jessie Ryan for a rooming house keeper's license at #68
Commercial Street for a period of six months commencing July let,
1916 and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Chief of
Police on September 12th„1916 and the said Chief of Police has
made report to the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City to-
gether with a report that he has inspected said rooming house
and recommended that the license be denied:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That said application for rooming
house keeper's license by Jessie Ryan, together with said report
of Chief of Police, be set down for hearing before the Board of
Commissioners for the 1rd day of October 1916, at the hour of
2:10 P. yy and that the City Recorder be and he is hereby
instructed to serve upon the said Jessie Ryan a copy of the report
of said Chief of Police together with a notice of the time and
place of said hearing upon her application, and that the Chief
of Police of Salt Lake City and the City Attorney be notified of
the time and place of said hearing.
