Harmsen nal Harrison Phillips �. ■■Result RESOLUTION // RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE WHEREAS, Stanley Nels Johnson departed this life on December 18, 1973; and WHEREAS, he had been former band director at the University of Utah and a widely known trumpet soloist; and WHEREAS, he had on numerous occasions conducted summer con- certs in Salt Lake City Parks, appealing to grownups and children alike; and WHEREAS, in sharing his music with others and other unselfish acts, he performed dedicated service to the residents of Salt Lake City; and WHEREAS, in his passing Salt Lake City has lost a loyal and respected citizen. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express on its own be- half and on behalf of the citizens of Salt Lake City, its grievance and expresses it sympathy to his survivors for the personal loss they have sustained. Be it further resolved that a copy of this Resolution be delivered to Mrs. Dorothy Williams on behalf of his survivors as an expression of our feeling of sympathy. 20thssed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt ake City, Utah, this day of December, 1973.
