RESOLUTION
Result
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, James T. Hadley, Jr. commenced employment with Salt
Lake City Corporation on October 17, 1944; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hadley has served as a member of the Department of
Streets and Public Improvements for some 34 years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hadley commenced his employment as a mechanic's
helper and on March 1, 1951 was promoted to the position of mechanic
and thereafter, effective November 16, 1959 , he was promoted to the
position of Foreman of the Mechanic Shop; and
WHEREAS, during his long tenure of service he has been diligent,
honest and efficient in the discharge of his duties and has served
with fidelity and thoroughness, thus rendering valuable service to
Salt Lake City and its inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hadley is now retiring from his employment with
Salt Lake City Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY that it does hereby express to James T. Hadley, Jr.
sincere and deep appreciation and gratitude for his faithful service
to Salt Lake City and its inhabitants. Said Board further expresses
its best wishes to Mr. Hadley for a long, productive and enjoyable
period of retirement.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 31st day of December, 1974.
