69 of 1980 - Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), through its Transpor / RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to have the Utah
Department of Transportation, through its Transportation
Planning Section, photograph approximately 243 miles of
major Salt Lake City streets by horizontal photologging methods;
and
WHEREAS, the Utah Department of Transportation has agreed
to provide $1,944 in federal 402 funds and the City will provide
$648 in matching funds or in-kind services; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Interlocal Cooperation Act
of the State of Utah, Salt Lake City and the Department of
Transportation have the authority to enter into such an agree-
ment; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of
Salt Lake City that the Department of Transportation provide
the City with said photologging.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
Salt Lake City, Utah, as follows:
Salt Lake City does hereby endorse and accept the agreement
between the Utah Department of Transportation and Salt Lake
City for the photographing of approximately 243 miles of major
Salt Lake City streets by horizontal photologging methods,
subject to the terms and conditions of said agreement. Mayor
Ted L. Wilson is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to
execute the agreement on behalf of Salt Lake City Corporation.
