WHEREAS, Charles H. Saunders has been employed in the Engineering
Department of Salt Lake City for a period of fifty-four years, serving
for many years as Chief of Surveying Party; and
WHEREAS, during all of his long tenure of employment with Salt
Lake City he has served with fidelity and efficiency, and could be
depended upon to discharge every duty and assignment with ability
and thoroughness and has thus rendered valuable service to Salt Lake
City and its inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, he has now voluntarily retired from his employment with
Salt Lake City:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY that it does hereby express to Charles H. Saunders
sincere and deep appreciation and gratitude for his long and faithful
service to Salt Lake City and its citizens. Said Board further ex-
presses its best wishes that he will find satisfaction and happiness
during his days of retirement.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this
resolution to Mr. Saunders.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this First day of March , 1966.
