Cederlof has served Salt Lake City as an Assistant to the Acting Chief of Police since January 30, 1970; and WHEREAS, he served as an Assistant to the Chief of Police from April 6, 1966, until January 30, 1970; and WHEREAS, he will now return to the position of Captain in the Salt Lake City Police Department; and WHEREAS, he did faithfully serve Salt Lake City and its residents and was diligent and efficient in the discharge of his duties and assignments and has served with fidelity and thoroughness thus ren- dering a valuable service to Salt Lake City and its inhabitants; and WHEREAS, Salt Lake City and its residents owe him a debt of gratitude for his faithful and dependable service while acting as an Assistant to the Chief of Police and Assistant to the Acting Chief of Police; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that it does hereby express its most sincere and heartfelt appreciation for a job well done and does further commend Eugene G. Cederlof for his willingness to serve in those capacities which he has been called upon to fulfill. The said Board further extends to him its wish for a continued successful career with the Salt Lake City Police Department. The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this Resolution to Captain Cederlof. Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 17th day of February, 1970. ' J.
