Result
OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Warren L. White has been an employee of Salt Lake City
Corporation for a period of thirty-three years, having started work in
1943 as Executive Secretary to Mayor Ab Jenkins; and
WHEREAS, Warren White became the Superintendent of Parks in February,
1950, and because of his efforts in this position, has made Salt Lake City
a more desirable and morebeautiful place in which to live; and
WHEREAS, Mr. White's foresight and dedication to the public has
resulted in an excellent park system; and
WHEREAS, during Mr. White's long tenure of service he has served with
great fidelity, faithfully discharging his assigned duties, making valuable
contribution to both the city government and to the residents of Salt Lake
City; and
WHEREAS, Mr. White has resigned effective January 6, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SALT
LAKE CITY, that said Board does hereby express to Warren L. White, on
behalf of itself and the residents of Salt Lake City, sincere appreciation
and gratitude for his devoted and capable service and wish him continued
success in his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered to
Mr. White.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
13th day of January, 1976.
