Result
WHEREAS, it is essential that revenue be reflected properly
and on a timely basis; and
WHEREAS, bad checks are causing a distortion in the amount
of revenue shown as received by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, Utah, that the Treasurer's Office have the
discretion to periodically submit to the Board a list of checks
to be removed from the revenue computation; said checks to be
returned for collection by the department which originally took
such checks and/or referral to the legal department for
collection thereof.
