Result
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Tracy Aviary is merging
with the Zoological Park Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Tracy Aviary have con-
tributed many long and devoted hours of service, without remuneration,
to the betterment and orderly development of the Tracy Aviary located
in Liberty Park; and
WHEREAS, through their planning and recommendations and under
their guidance and leadership the Tracy Aviary has been developed into
one of the finest exhibits of its kind in the Intermountain Area; and
WHEREAS, each individual member has served with great distinction
and the citizens of Salt Lake owe the Trustees a great debt of grati-
tude for their unselfish and diligent service which they have provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City that it does hereby express on its own behalf and on
behalf of the citizens of Salt Lake City, its most sincere and deepest
appreciation and gratitude for the Trustees' long and diligent service
and does hereby commend each and every member of the Board for their
dedication, contribution and willingness to serve their community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be delivered
to each member of said Board.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 13th day of July, 1977.
