RESOLUTION.
WHER,AS, on the 7th day of October, 1915, the Board of
Commissioners of Salt Lake City duly pessed.a resolution of intention
to establish Lighting District No. One in Salt Lake City, which reso-
lution directed the City engineer to make and file with the City
Recorder a written rer;ort presenting plans and specifications for
the improvements necessary for said lighting district, and an
estimate of the cost and incidental expenses thereof and a diagram
showing the proposed district with separate lots thereof numbered,
and the proposed assessment of the costs and expenses of the pro-
posed improvement upon the several lots in said district; and
'.:H RE,S, the City Engineer complied with said resolution
and heo ::^.de and filed said report so re ,mired of him with the City
Recorder, and -the Ci',:7 Recorder has presented the same to the Board
of Commissioners, who have duly considered the said report:
NO„' Tiiii RSfORE, BE II RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of ,a.lt Lake City, that on Tuesday,the 30th day of November, 1915,
at the hour of 10 a.m. of said day, the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City will, in the Council Chamber of the said Board, in
the City and County Building in Salt Lake City, hear and consider
protests against either the said improvement generally, or against
the extent of the said district, or against the proposed assessment
fixed in the report of the City Engineer herein above mentioned; and
any person owning property in said proposed improvement district, may,
at or before the time herein above fixed for hearing such protests,
file with the City Recorder a written protest setting forth his
objection to such proposed improvement; and the City :recorder is
hereby directed to give public notice of the said hearing in the
manner provided by law.
