WHEREAS, Salt Lake City Corporation desires to have the Utah
Department of Transportation, Materials & Research Division
perform Viscosity at 140°F. and Ductility at 39.2°F. tests for
samples submitted from Project No. 19-A-123-2, Access Road
Drainage, Grading & Paving at the Salt Lake City International
Airport; and
WHEREAS, the Utah Department of Transportation, Materials &
Research Division is willing to perform such testing; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Interlocal Cooperation Act
of the State of Utah, Salt Lake City, and the Utah Department of
Transportation have the authority to enter into such an
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah, as follows:
Salt Lake City does hereby endorse and accept the agreement
between Salt Lake City and the Utah Department of Transportation-
Materials & Research Division for said division to perform
Viscosity at 140°F. and Ductility at 39.2°F. tests for samples
submitted from Project No. 19-A-123-2, Access Road Drainage,
Grading & Paving at the Salt Lake City International Airport,
subject to the terms and conditions of said agreement. Mayor Ted
L. Wilson is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to execute
the agreement on behalf of Salt Lake City Corporation.
