Resolved that the Engineering Department is hereby t,
instructed to proceed at once to secure the right of way U."
for an extension of the East Jordan Canal from its present
terminus to Rig Cottonwood Crelk of sufficient width for
a canal of capacity to carry the water now owned by the
City in the East Jordan Canal and also all thfi water of
