RESOLUTION
Result
WHEREAS, the health of the citizens of the
community demands that vigorous measures be employed
to stamp out the Spanish Influenza•Epidemic now pre-
velent; and
WHEREAS, the City Board of Health has adopt-
ed certain rules and regulations aimed to accomplish
that end, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the said action by the
City Board of Health be and the same is hereby approved;
and
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that the City Health
Commissioner be and he hereby is authorized to employ
not more than 100 deputies who under his direction,
shall assist in carrying out any rules or orders that
have been or may be made.
