ESOLUTION
*( GAS, since the year 1924 Salt Lake City Corporation has
leased to the United states Government a certain parcel of land,;adjoining:
the Municipal Airport, Salt Lake City, Utah, comprising .95 acres of
land more or less on which has been constructed an airplane hangar and
other facilities by the United States Government, and
'HcRKf , said lease agreement has been in existence since
the above date and the same having been finally cancelled by the United
States Government, effective June 30, 1942, and
seirRSAS, the City Commission is now informed by Colonel
Hopkins of the Army Air lase that tie property is still being used by
the United States Government and is necessary as a part of the war uf`.'ort
' and the same was mistakenly released on as part of some of the military
authorities, and
„}?.",2EAS, Colonel Hopkins has specifically requested that
the lease agreement on the above described property be reinstated, the
same to extend to June 30, 1965, being the same period provided in the
lease covering the other property adjoining said Airport upon which
Government buildings have been constructed.
NC'; 11F1EFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor and City
Recorder be and are hereby authorised to execute a new lease on the
said .95 acres of land adjoining the Municipal Airport on which said
Government hangar is located, for a period extending to June 30, 1965,
for a consideration of 41.00 per year.
