A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF SALT LAKE CITY, SALT LAKE COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH, TO
CONSTRUCT A SANITARY SEWER UNDER SEWER EXTENSION NO. 811
ON A CERTAIN STREET WITHIN SAID CITY CONSISTING OF 357.0
LINEAR FEET OF 8 INCH VITRIFIED CLAY OR CONCRETE PIPE, AND
SHALL INCLUDE MANHOLE, FLUSH TANK AND !^IYES; TO CREATE A
SPECIAL SEWER EXTENSION DISTRICT NO. 311 IN SAID CITY; TO
DEFRAY THE COST AND EXPENSES OF SAID IMPROVEMENT BY SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS TO BE LEVIED AGAINST THE PROPERTY BENEFITED BY
SUCH IMPROVEMENT; PROVIDING FOR A NOTICE OF INTENTION TO
AUTHORIZE SUCH IMPROVEMENT AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR
PROTESTS AGAINST SUCH IMPROVEMENT OR THE CREATION OF SUCH
SEWER EXTENSION SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Salt Lake County, State of Utah:
SECTION 1 : The Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Salt
Lake County, Utah, has determined, and hereby determines that it
will be in the best interest of said City to construct anu lay sewer
laterals consisting of approximately 357.0 linear feet of 8 inch
vitrified clay or concrete pipe, including manhole, flush tank and
wyes, all complete according to plans on file in the office of the
City Engineer; the said improvement to be made upon the street and
boundaries more particularly described in the Notice of Intention.
SECTION 2. The proposed district shall be known as Sewer
Extension No. 811 of Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.
SECTION 3. All of Lots 1 to 5 and 35 to 42 inclusive, Block
16, Clermont Subdivision, a part of Section 28, T.l S., R.l E., S. L.
B. & M., including the alley and street vacated in aforesaid block,
shall be assessed to pay for said improvement.
SECTION -t. Written protests against theproposed improvement
or against the creation of said district must be presented and filed
in the office of the City Recorder on or before the 5th eay of

August , 1958, at the hour of 5:00 o'clock n'.M.
and on the 6th day of August , 1958, at the
hour of 10:00 o'clock A' .M., at the City Hall of Said City
such protests shall be heard and considered by the Board of Commissioners.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to give notice of intention to
make the proposed: improvement and of the time within which protests
against the proposec improvement or the creation of said district
may be filed and the date when such protests will be heard and
considered be published in a newspaper having general circulation in
Salt Lake City, said publication to be in three ( ) consecutive issues
of said paper. The first publication to be not less than twenty (20)
days prior to the date fi;:ed for the first meetins of the Board of
City Commissioners and by mailing said notice by United States mail,
postage prepaid, to the owners of the property affected by, or
specially benefited by, such improvement as said property is describe° .
in said notice, insofar as the names and addresses of said owners
can be ascertained from the most recent available county assessment
books and addressed to owners as provided by ordinance. Saia notices
to be mailed not less than twenty one (21) days prior to the sate
when protests shall be heard and considered by the Board of Commissioners.
The City Recorder shall have on file in his office a copy of the Notice
of Intention for the e,:amination of any interested parties. Said
Notice shall be in the following form, to-wit:
