WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Board of Commissioners declared its
intention to create Curb and Gutter Extension No. 539 on the 23rd day
of September, 1976; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Intention was published first on October
5, 1976, second on October 12, 1976, third, on October 19, 1976, and
last on October 26, 1976; and that said Notice was mailed postage
prepaid to each owner of the property to be assessed within the special
improvement district at his last known address as said address appeared
on the last completed real property assessment rolls of Salt Lake
County, and also sent to "owner" at the street number of each piece of
improved property to be assessed; and
WHEREAS, there were two property owners protesting. Their property
frontages amounts to 124.50 front feet of assessable frontage amounting
to 10,176.30 front feet for a percentage protest total of 1.22 percent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that the amount of protests to said Special
Improvement District No. 539 is hereby deemed to be insufficient to
require any change or alteration in the district as proposed, and
accordingly, this Board does hereby create Special Improvement District
No. 539 and does hereby authorize the City Engineer to proceed with
this project as described in the Notice of Intention.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 23rd day of November , 1976.
