Result
WHEREAS, Woodrow Wilson Mansfield retired from Salt Lake City
Engineering Department on November 30, 1976; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mansfield has served Salt Lake City faithfully in
the Engineering Department from March 1, 1967, and has worked pre-
viously for the State and County in similar capacities; and
WHEREAS, he has worked long and conscientiously for the City,
taking pride in his work despite the distractions of physical illness
in his family; and
WHEREAS, Mr . Mansfield has earned the respect and friendship
of his co-workers, setting an example by, among other things, his
excellent attendance records.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, that the Board does hereby express to Woodrow
Wilson Mansfield, on behalf of itself and the residents of Salt Lake
City, Utah, their sincere appreciation and gratitude for his devoted
and capable service and for his years of loyal, dedicated service.
The Board further extends its warmest wishes for happiness and
health to him and to his family in his retirement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be delivered
to Mr. Mansfield personally.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 30th day of November, 1976.
