\ ) PHEREAS, on the 28th day of October, 1915, the Board of
Commissioners of aalt Lake City duly paused a resolution of
o intention to establish Lighting District Edo. 2 in Salt Lake City, +H
which resolution directed the City Engineer to make and file with61
the City Recorder a written report presenting plans and specificarq

tions for the improvements necessary for said Lighting District,
and an estimate of the cost and incidental expense thereof, and a
diagram showing the proposed district with tIm separate lots there-
of numbered, and a proposed assessment of the costs and expenses
of the proposed improvement upon the several lots in said district;
and

II-AREAS, the City Engineer has complied with said resolution
and has made and filed said report so reuired of him with the
4 City Recorder, and the CityRecorder has presented the same to the
Board of Commissioners, who have duly considered said report;
NO; THER0RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners ..
of Salt La' City that on Thursday, the 27th dalI of January, 1916,
/a� n"e` ur o a. m. of said day, the Board of Commissioners of <'
( Salt Lake City will, in the Council Chamber of said Board in the
v f City and County Building inEalt Lake City, hear and consider
protests against either the said improvement generally or against
the extent of said district or against the proposed assessments
fixed in the report of the City engineer hereinabove mentioned; _',
and any person owning property in said proposed improvement dis-
trict may at or before the time hereinabove fixed for hearing z'
said protests file with the City Recorder a written protest set-)' ting forth his objection to such proposed improvement; and the I,

hearing in the manner provided by law.
