Result WHEREAS, application was made on October 3, 1916,
by Helda Francis for a rooming house keeper's license
at 71 Commercial street for a period of 1.3 month commencing
November 22nd, 1916; and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Chief
of Police on November 23rd, 1916, and the Chief of Police has
made a report to the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
together with report that he has inspected said rooming house and
recommended that license be denied:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said application for
rooming house keeperle license by Helda Francis, together with
said report of the Chief of Police be set down for hearing
before the said Board of Commissioners for the 4 day of
Decembor,1916, at the hour of i/n -"Y and that the
City Recorder be and he is hereby instructed to serve upon the
said Helda Francis a copy of the report of the Chief of
Police, together with a notice of the time and place of said
hearing upon his application, and that the Chief of Police
and the City Attorney be notified of 'Cie time and place of said
hearing.

----appear at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners in the Council
Chamber, City & County Building at .11 .o+clock A.M. on Wednesday
December 6th, 1916, and show cause why my application for a
rooming house license at 71 Commercial street should be granted.
