Result RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The street signs are being defaced, injured or
{
destroyed nearly as fast as they can be installed; and while the
City has an ordinance forbidding such defacement, injury or
destruction, and providing a punishment for any one found guilty
of so doing, it seems impossible to detect the persons guilty of
such offense, now with a view of punishing such violators of the
law:
BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of Commissioners of this City
hereby offer a reward of $$25.00 to be paid to any person furnishing
to said Board or the City Attorney of this city, evidence
sufficient to convict any person of defacing, injuring or
destroying any street sign erected or constructed by the City.
