A RESOLUTION LEVYING TAXES UPON ALL REAL AND PERSONAL
PROPERTY WITHIN SALTLAKE CITY, i DE TAXABLE BY LAW, FOR lHE
YEAR 1945.
3E IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
r That for the purpose of defraying the necessary and proper
expenses of Salt Lake City and maintaining the government thereof,
there be and there is hereby levied upon allthe real and personal
property within Salt Lake City, made taxable by law for the fiscal
year ending December 31, 1945, a tax of Sixteen Mills (16.0000)
Mills on each dollar assessed valuation of said property and
3/4 Mill levy for post war reserves es granted by the 1945
Legislature.
Said tax is hereby levied and to be raised for the follow-
ing purposes and is and shall be apportioned to such purposes in
the following manner:
CON`1'INGENT EXPENSES
To defray contingent expenses, two and two thousand one
hundred ninety-five ten thousandths (2.2195) of a mill on each
dollar assessed valuation of said property.
AUDITOR
To defray the expenses of the Auditor, one thousand one
hundred fifty-four ten thousandths (.1154) of a mill on each
dollarassessed valuation of said property.
PUBLIC LIBRARIES
To maintain public libraries and free reading rooms, six
thousand four hundred thirty-one ten thousandths (.6431) of a
mill on each dollar assessed valuation of said property.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS & FINANCE
To defray the expenses of the Department of Public Affair
and Finance, nine thousand five hundred fifty-seven ten thousandths
(.9557) of a mill on each dollar assessed valuation of said
property.
