Romney f/ Cy4 ,✓ ( Tedesco Mr.Chairman . . !/ 1 RESOLUTION Result DHELEAS, the Government of the United States through its Public `lousing Authority is desirous of having sixty-four atditional units com_aleted on the Airbase Village Project located in the western portion of Salt Lake City near Airport No. 1, and the Government of the United States is willing to furnish certain aaterials, buildings, and equipment, and pay the sum of One hundred Forty-five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars (0_45,000.00) for the completion of the sixty-four units; and 'd:1*.L AS, Lark B. Garff & Company, a co-partnership, is willing to enter into a contract with Salt Lake City agree- ing to construct the sixty-four units in accordance with the contract entered into between the City and the Government of the United States for the sum of One hundred Forty-five Thou- sand and 00/100 (y,l45,000.00) Dollars and to furnish a surety bond guarantying the performance and protecting material men and laborers; and IHERLAS, Salt Lake City has a serious housing short- age and desires to cooperate in any way possible to encourage and assist in the providing of housing facilities. f0'U 'THIHHFO'LE, it is hereby resolved that Salt Lake City enter into a contract with the Government of the United. States undertaking to perform the completion of the sixty-four units for the sum of One Hundred Forty-five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars (yy",145,000.00) and the furnishing of certain designated buildings, materials, and equipment, and that the City enter into a contract with Mark B.
