RESOLUTION / Result . . _ Be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah' WHEREAS, the Great Creator has called from this life George Depue Keyser, active Mason, prominent citizen, businessman and former Salt Lake City Commissioner for many years; and WHEREAS, the City of Salt Lake and the public in general have sustained a great loss in his passing; and WHEREAS, this man excelled in administrative leadership and ability and was greatly admired and respected by all who labored or mingled with him. His qualities of courage and fidelity to any trust imposed upon him re- sulted in his holding the various public offices and honored positions to which he was appointed and elected. His far-sighted and thoughtful plan- ning for water for the future growth of Salt Lake City has benefited this City tremendously. He will be mimed and his passing mourned by the people of Salt Lake City; WHEREAS, the members of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City suffer his loss keenly and sympathize with his family; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City pay tribute and honor to him and we extend our sincere and deeply felt sympathy to his widow, Jean MacNeil Keyser and to his four sons. Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be delivered to Jean MacNeil Keyser, widow of George Depue Keyser, for the family. Dated this 5th day of April, 1960.
