RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Florence Collins has been an employee of Salt
Lake City for the past 41 years, serving in the office of
the City Street Department and the City Engineer's office,
and has now voluntarily retired from her employment; and,
WHEREAS, during her long tenure of service she has
served with fidelity and efficiency, discharging her duties
ably and in the interests of the city; and,
WHEREAS, her valuable service has contributed much to
the operation of the office in which she has worked:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMIS-
SIONERS OF SALT LAKE CITY that said Board does hereby express
to Florence Collins, on behalf of the city administration and
residents of Salt Lake City, sincere appreciation for her
devoted and capable service.
The City Recorder is hereby directed to deliver a copy
of this resolution to Miss Collins.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 4th day of May, 1967.
