RESOLUTION Result r■ J' WHEREAS, for the purpose of enabling each department to totally cost their activities, it is desirable that fringe benefits be budgeted in each individual department rather than in the general government fund; and WHEREAS, certain functions of municipal government have, by prior Commission action, been shifted from one department to another; and WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 1977-78 was adopted on June 30, 1977 without the implementation of the above policy and depart- mental changes; and WHEREAS, implementation of the above policy and departmental changes require that certain line items be shifted within the budget without affecting the total budget as adopted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, as follows: The Salt Lake City Board of Commis- sioners hereby authorizes and adopts the policy that fringe benefits shall be budgeted in each individual department rather than in the general government fund as heretofore. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, in order to implement the foregoing policy as well as the shifting of certain municipal functions from one department to another previously accomplished by Commission action, the transfers of appropriations as shown on Exhibit "A", attached here- to and by this reference made a part hereof, are hereby made and the auditor is directed to cause the same to be reflected in the budget for fiscal year 1977-78.
