RESOLUTION NO. 91 OF 1981
(Designation of boundaries for
Salt Lake City Council Districts)
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of June, 1981, the Salt Lake City
Council by resolution reapportioned the Salt Lake City Council
districts based upon the 1980 official census figures as set
forth in Resolution No. 4b of 1981 ; and
WHEREAS, said reapportionment was accomplished by designat-
ing certain Salt Lake County voting districts to each Salt Lake
City Council district and the boundaries of each district were
designated on a map attached to said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer's office has subsequently
reviewed said map and council districts and has enlarged and
refined said map, identified as No. 24871, for formal adoption by
the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah, that the boundaries of the Salt Lake City
Council Districts 1 through 7, provided for by a vote of Salt
Lake City residents in a special election on May 15, 1979, shall
be those boundaries designated on the Official City Map No. 24871
and the Council's Resolution No. 48 of 1981 is hereby amended to
include said map. The other provisions of said resolution not
inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 6th day of October , 1981.
