WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Board of Commissioners declared its
intention to create the Special Improvement District designated as
Curb and Gutter Extension No. 38-596; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Intention was published first on August
4, 1977, second on August 11, 1977, third on August 18, and last on
August 25, 1977; and that said Notice was mailed, postage prepaid,
to each owner of the property to be assessed within the special
improvement district at his last known address as said address
appeared on the last completed real property assessment rolls of
Salt Lake County, and also sent to "owner" at the street number of
each piece of improved property to be assessed; and
WHEREAS, the total frontage protested represents 0.72 percent
of the total project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, that the amount of protests to said Special
Improvement District No. 38-596 is hereby deemed to be insufficient
to require any change or alteration in the district as proposed, and
accordingly, this Board does hereby create Special Improvement Dis-
trict No. 38-596 and does hereby authorize the City Engineer to
proceed with this project as described in the Notice of Intention.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 5th day of October , 1977.
